What would The Old Republic:Revan have looked like had Atton gone to the Unknown Regions with the Exile as was originally intended? Part 1 in a series. (MAJOR SPOILERS FOR REVAN NOVEL!) 

"It is then that I know my feelings cannot be wrong. The resonance I
sense between us is not purely my imagination, the wishful delusions of a
love-struck child. I feel it hum through her words as they bridge the
breach between us, and I know for certain that our paths will cross
again." Though they are apart for 10 years, the
Exile is never far from Mical's thoughts.

The Exile goes into a cave on Korriban and is greeted with a vision of her past.

Revan and the Exile have left to fight in the Unknown Regions, but the greatest battle of all may be the one they face when they return.

Our close proximity only highlights how distant she seems.

“No, I’m THE Jedi.  The Grand Master, a Jedi Lord.  There won’t be another one for oh 3,900 years.”  Her sarcasm wasn’t lost on him; she could see him recognize that his vision and her statement were intertwined.  “And he’ll be short and green.”

After replaying both Knights of the Old Republic games the past few months, this plot gizka happily burrowed within my skull and has been there consistently throughout my time of playing. As such, I've taken to writing this and hold off on other stories until I can regain my ground.

What would you do if someone you truly loved left you behind, without little more than hints of what you would have to do? Would you heed their advice?

Could it be that she was unhappy? Atton himself was happier than he had ever been. He had worried for awhile that he might grow bored with Liara as time went by but that had proven false. If anything, he relied on her more and more each day. She was his peace and that fact didn’t bother him anymore. His happiness being dependent on her was fine with him now. And Atton felt deep inside that she was content as well. Even with the constant reminder of his flaws, such as his yellow eyes, she loved him.

Erv's grip on his blaster relaxed and his hand dropped once again to his side. “So why am I here? I'm no commando,” he murmured.

“You said so yourself. One of those freaky Revan clones chose you,” Atton said, patting him on the back as in congratulations. “Call it the Force, or just dumb luck, kid, but that's the way these things normally work. Trouble comes to you.”

The youth glared back at him, cocky and defiant even as he knew he was outnumbered. In a way, it reminded Atton of his own self. Erv's lip curled. “That's not how it works.”

Ethyl had never known the aqualish or huttese languages that the aliens used, but she could sense the base raw emotions that emitted from their angry foreign words. She finished her juma and turned slightly on her barstool. Physical eyes did not reveal the miniature but deadly blaster hidden in the Aqualish's left breast pocket, nor the vibroknife on the back of the larger nikto's belt, but their thoughts gave them away. They did not even know that Ethyl had entered their minds and absorbed all the information she needed for their next move.

“Do you wish to raise them yourself?”

“Give me a call when they're ready and I will select one. I'd like it if you could take care of the others until I return.”

The kaminoan bowed its head. “Thank you for your business, sir.”

“No,” Hagan smiled, showing his teeth, “Thank you.”

Ducking, his hand connected with Bastila's lightsaber hilt and he pulled it in front of his face as a shield. The warrior's lightsaber was back in her hand, Dustil's in her belt.

The sabers clashed and Carth felt a mysterious thrill pass through his muscles as he turned the hilt and amazingly, the second blade of the lightsaber – which he had forgotten about – dislodged the warrior's mask.

But just as suddenly as the adrenaline pounded through his veins, everything came to a slow halt. He stared into the face of the woman that had attacked Bastila.

And he was afraid.

A short epilogue to tie up all the loose ends of this exciting 3D graphic novel. I hope you enjoyed the story!

"What of the one who ran?" Sion asked as he stepped beside Traya.

"Get rid of him. The fool pilot's uses have run out."

Sion gave a sharp intake of breath at that.

So the dark-haired one is the man she is involved with Sion thought. Yes, I will take great pleasure in handling him myself.

Sion started after Atton.

Revan learns something that upsets him immensely.

The last thing I remembered was falling in the crystal caves on Dantooine, but when I opened my eyes, I found myself back on Nar Shaddaa. I thought that this might have been a memory; you know, like ones that reoccur through your dreams until they arrive back to your conscious memory; but the odd thing was that I was standing on a landing pad in front of a ship that anyone in known, maybe even unknown, space would recognise: The Ebon Hawk. I took a few steps towards the ship and put my hand on the outer casing.
