A mysterious Jedi dreams a life he doesn't fully remember...and seeks an old friend for guidance

Having agreed to assist Atris in the teaching of Jedi younglings, Kai finds his situation not to be what he had originally thought. Quatra communes with Master Kavar, consolidating as to what their next plan of action should be. Whilst in the midst of giving a lesson, Atris has an unexpected visitor, whom forces her to realize a truth within herself that she cannot face.

My Life... For Yours - A critical mistake on the Exile's part results in Visas being poisoned. Desperate to save her, Kai is forced to turn to the one person among his companions with the means to do so - his Master. Ever adament in the greater good being acheived by the Miraluka's death, Kreia remains defiant of her student's call for mercy. And in the end, they will each show just how far they are willing to go in order to acheive their ends.

This is the last time I will see my friends in a long time, if ever. I wonder how they can stand by me after all I've done. That's what friends are here for I realise, they are your friends no matter what (or close enough).

Bastila gently holds my hand. She has come a long way since I first met her on Taris, and she has been through a lot as well. I gently squeeze her hand and smile at her. She smiles back, her eyes shining with barely contained tears.

Slowly, I reach her twin ponytails and undo them. She opens her eyes and looks at me quizzically.

"Always wondered what you looked like without them," I explain.

"You don't like them?"

"Quite the contrary, they are part of the image of you I always have in my mind."

"And what would that image be?" She asks coyly.

"Well," I pause for an instant, a grin forming on my face, "our first meeting when you were Brejik's prisoner, obviously."

Trask twists his wrist and checks the timepiece strapped there. 15:51
– two hours to waste till his freighter lands. He drags his eyes from
the piece and stares blankly forward, resting his chin on the back of
his hands and stares cross-eyed at the bottle still sitting on the
counter-top. The steady clicks of the fan above lull him to a shallow
sleep. Bar's not comfortable, but it'll do.

"My whole life was spent working to do good, to serve the people I so dearly loved. But eventually I realized that the society I was fighting to protect, the people I loved more than my own self, didn't exist. Just how can such a civilization limp through three devastating wars?"

Akar let out a thunderous roar of anger. The walls cracked and split around him as he made his wrath known, yet Visas remained untouched where she knelt still, her head now touching the floor. The Saint bellowed again, and extended a hand toward the lone Miraluka, lifting her off the ground to hold her helpless before him.

"Fool!" he hissed. "There is no place under the bond for you. You have bought yourself no mercy, only given me your soul unhindered."

Visas answered him with a smile.

I Want to See (one-shot) - The Exile's ability to draw others to him, to reach across the stars and form bonds with others, was a mystery that even the greatest of Jedi Masters were unable to solve. Yet a lone, fallen Miraluka seer, drawn in by the sound of his presence, seeks to find an answer.

Torn asunder with uncertainty about his nature, Kai finds himself turning to the last person he would ever expect to show him compassion. Revan, whilst meditating on the Dantooine Slopes, has an unexpected visitor whom proves him not to be as all knowing as he tries to be.

Back after over a year is part seven of the Exile's Revenge Series. For the fans of the series, sorry for the long delay. I've been very busy with school stuff and it's taken me some time to gather my ideas about where this story is going. For those of you who haven't read the first six chapters feel free to catch up on the adventures of Troy Blukam(The Exile), Revan and several characters from both games as they prepare for the war against the True Sith.

"it was not I who defeated Cyhrrus and Necros. It was not I who deactivated the defenses of the Forge to allow the fleet to destroy it. You did Revan."

"And if they learn who I am, I'll be full of blaster holes in seconds," I retort playfully.

Where does someone like Kai Lugo belong in the galaxy? In the Jedi Order? Back down in the depths of Coruscant? As one who has always questioned his place in life, Kai has no idea how fragile his current place in the Order is. And as some truths of himself are revealed to him in Order to help answer that question, others are kept secret in order to protect him from the dangers they represent, to him and all others around him.

"That was unbecoming of a Jedi," the Sith Master groans, his nose bleeding.

"I am not a Jedi. I fight to win, and I fight dirty" I retort dryly. "Now, Andrenas, do you yield?"

"Yes, Revan, I do," his voice remains defiant, even in defeat.

"Maybe I should kill you," I muse, "and save the Jedi the trouble."

There was no Knight to call out, nor bell to ring, nor whistle to blow to initiate their match, nor was there need for one. As soon as Kai and Revan had fallen into their battle stances, they had become the most vicious of enemies, consumed by their wills to conquer each other.

"Why are the Sith here? The planet Korriban had to have been one of their outposts long ago. The planet practically swims in the Dark Side. But as for the Star Map, I am uncertain. And the only one who can tell us is the man buried in here," she informed, kicking Pernicious slightly.

         Bastila sighed, "I doubt it, if the Sith are here, they may have placed traps for us. And, in my experience, hope is never enough, Ilse. Hope will not help us recover Revan, save him from whatever they did to him. Hope can not save the Republic which could easily fall to this new threat.".... Bastila Shan heard an intimately familiar voice speak from deeper inside the tomb, "Yes, Mirluka, the Sith are here. Now, we are also everywhere." The figure of Darth Pernicious stepped into the light, followed by two dark robed Sith.

The droid, known as DR_789, was in charge of reconstructing the Star Forge for its creators, unaware that the Rakatans were little more then primitive savages. DR_789 sent a brief, coded message to the surface of Lehon.            

No promises, but the Star Forge will be operational in only two more months. Then the glory of the Builders will be restored.

I march into the center of the room, into the middle of the circle of low armchairs on which the Masters of the Council sit. I look at the Jedi Masters gathered here with an outward air of serenity. [...] 

"So you are disobeying our advice on purpose to go on your personal crusades again?" Atris remarks.

"So doing what the Jedi are here for, to be the protectors and guardians of the galaxy, is a personal crusade these days?"

"It is, especially when it leads to the kind of destruction you have wrought Revan," interjects the Gotal Tervagg.

"Indeed," adds Atris, "we have seen the results of your last endeavours to live up to the Jedi ideals."

Bandon and the unnamed Interloper have out their combat exercise, from which Kai learns much of the claimed Protégé. Quatra rushed back to the Enclave as the other Masters, having felt the threat that Kai presents, now must respond for the sake of all, even the Force. And finally, Kai is drawn into a conflict against one who will mark his fate, unaware of it and so much more...

HK-47, reprogrammed by some mysterious being to assassinate his former master, the Dark Lord of the Sith, Revan, Canderous Ordo left for dead on Coruscant, and Carth Onasi, still stranded on the Star Forge Planet... Where so much darkness strives in the galaxy what is the chance of light?

Atton studied a line of graffiti apprehensively, 'REVAN LIVES', was scrawled in red on the furthest wall. He couldn't tell what it had been written in, and to be honest, he didn't particularly want to know.
